Q: What if I live in an apartment?
A: Most apartments have dumpsters for trash collection but no arrangement for recycling. The owner of the apartment complex is billed for the dumpster but not for recycling. Individual apartment residents may request a recycling bin. However, Rumpke would prefer to pick up all the recycling at one location, preferably near the dumpster instead of in front of each apartment. The Berea Recycles! Committee recommends that residents of each apartment complex decide as a group how best to collect their recyclables for pick-up on garbage day.
