OUR VISION for Local Government
We have continued to engage discussion on the future of
Berea, Richmond and Madison County in the areas of land use, growth, and
economic development. In 2005 when all
three local governments revised their comprehensive land use plans, LWV
hosted several public meetings to encourage citizen input.
Read the LWV's VISION STATEMENT for
local government adopted at April 2008 Annual Meeting.
A Citizen's Guide to Local Officials 2008 is now available. Contact LWV
